Speaker Boehner resigns after talking with the Pope has a moment and reflecting on his past actions and potential future ones in Congress. In his tearful remarks, Mr. Boehner was touched in a divine way and made a choice in the right direction. As they say the chickens have came home to roost in a time when the small leadership failures has consumed congress at the cost of the America taxpayer and the decline of the minority community. The major problem with the U.S. Congress is leadership and common sense of a junior caucus of inexperience representatives, who in part listen to echo chambers instead of the people. The power war between the hard core right wing of the GOP and the more centrist pro-business conservatives has gone on with proper leadership in both house of congress to educate and training new members. This has left a void that has consumed the GOP for years and has been counter productive the American people.
Speaker Boehner stated “It’s become clear to me that this prolonged leadership turmoil would do irreparable harm to the institution,” Mr. Boehner told reporters at a news conference on Friday. It is time for new conservative leadership to attempt to provide balance to this ultra right GOP and start working on the policies that produce growth and stability for American families. God bless Speaker Boehner in his retirement.
